The Aurora Fire Department strives to “provide exceptional service by well trained professionals” in all that it undertakes. In exemplifying this mission, the department continues to provide a quality public education program with the resources that are allocated. The department will provide a level of public education and or community service to community groups, civic organizations and individual citizens so long as the requested activities allow those emergency response personnel who are providing the education/service to maintain emergency response capabilities. To maintain departmental integrity and ethical standards the department will evaluate all requests for department personnel and apparatus and make every effort to approve those requests that do not specifically promote private business interests or place the department in a compromising situation.
To request the department’s assistance with public fire and or emergency medical education, please complete the fields below and submit your request at least two weeks in advance. Your request will be evaluated and approved with email confirmation unless additional questions by the requesting party or the approving fire department supervisor necessitate telephone communication. If you do not receive notification from fire department personnel within seven days after submission of the request; or if you have questions or concerns, please contact the Aurora Fire Department at 303-326-8999.
